Athens International Airport
The Athens International Airport, Eleftherios Venizelos, is the doorway to the great destinations of the world as well as the first thing visitors encounter the minute they land and get off the airplane.
The Airport receives thousands of visitors and passengers daily and offers excellent services and facilities.  It also provides comfortable and safe transportation to all the passengers.

Transportation from/to the Athens International Airport
There is a network of public buses that provide easy access to the airport from Athens and Piraeus as well as from the airport to the city’s centre and the port.
The buses that run from and to the airport are:
X92 – Kifissia – Athens International Airport
X93 – Kifissos Bus Terminal – Athens International Airport
X94 – Ethniki Amina - Athens International Airport
X95 – Syntagma (city centre) - Athens International Airport
X96 – Piraeus (port) - Athens International Airport
X97 – Dafni - Athens International Airport
The ticket costs 3,20 € and there are regular schedules every day including weekends.
Passengers and visitors can also reach the airport or the city by metro (blue line Egaleo – Athens International Airport). The ticket costs 6 €, but unfortunately there are not as many regular schedules as with the buses.
Outside the airport there are always available taxis to drive you anywhere you wish.
There are more than 7,000 parking spots outside the airport where you can park your vehicle for a short period of time or longer.

There is also a business centre at the airport, business lounges, a pharmacy, a first aid station, children’s entertainment facilities, baby rooms, a post office and a vat refund office. 
For the utmost comfort there is a hair salon at the Athens International airport and massage chairs.
Children travelling alone and disable passengers can find it very easy to move around the airport which is equipped to provide assistance when necessary.  
Free internet connection is provided inside the airport.

Athens International Airport Baggage Facilities
Passengers are able to claim lost baggage from their airlines, wrap baggage at the wrapping baggage post and store their luggage at the airport.

Athens International Airport Museum
The Airport Museum hosts an exhibition dedicated to Eleftherios Venizelos, one of the most charismatic politicians in the entire Greek history, who also served as a prime minister.
